  1. Someone solid fill their rear engine mounts and see if it solves the problem. DO IT, DO ITTT!! :spiteful:

I've been in a number of cars with slight grinding problems, shifting problems. I had a FWD Turbo Pulsar pumping 161.8FWKW and axle tramp/torque steer was it's best friend. I managed to slap in any gear no matter where I was bouncing on the road after I had installed my solid rear mount :D Also, a 180sx, s15 and 350z - friends and I had the engine dampening kits on and it solved almost all problems with mis-shifting in high RPM.

For the people without stuffed syncros as of yet, it's a good prevention method.

  2. After I recently sold my turbo converted N15 Pulsar - I decided to replace it with a stock-as-a-rock 04 Toyota Corolla beast.

It originally came with yellow number plates but my first mod was to replace them with standard white plates to better suit the colour of the car.

    Future mods:

    - Polarg 4300K Halogen Bulbs

    - Zaino wax job

    - 35% tint all around

    Possibly considering (not worthy) mods:

    - 17" wheels

    - D2/G4 Coilovers

  3. Man, you guys get 450km+ ?

    I'm happy if I get to 400k.

    I've got a 04 Corolla hatch?

Should I get it checked out?

When I go to fill up I usually get till up around 35L?

Does that mean I've atleast another 20L to use as the red light comes on?

  4. depends on which corolla the thread starter is talking about? stivo is going to be expensive, standard rolla should be cheap.

when i was looknig for a new engine i did come accross one gearbox 2nd hand, at the price they were asking you may as well get the kazz/c-one box...

  5. Hi guys,

I recently purchased a 04 Corolla. At the moment the CD player is security locked and I wasn't given a code.

I have the log books but it doesn't seem to be specified in it? What do I do?

    Thanks,

    Andrew

  6. Hey,

I'm looking into buying a 05 model Corolla soon. Just wondering if you guys are still having issues with idling/surging etc?

Is it a major concern? I'm looking to get a new car for reliability and no headaches but if this is a major issue then I may have to reconsider.
