  1. cant hear anything!!!! Get an in-car video next time.... Is there a race pipe on there aswell?
  2. my one broke aswell. THe filter doesnt fit properly with the foglight if the ruber elbow gets any shorter :(
  3. who is use? And what makes it so special....its the same motor so??? Do you have quads? :D so do you have a point lol? ps if your gunna post, use language we can read!
  4. thanks for the positive comments people, i'll pass the kind words on.
  5. consult the RAYS catalogue. That will give you the perfect offset for your car. If your car is low and its scrubbing well then you dont have the right offset, rid with or tyre width.
  6. its not easy! i can't do it. As mentioned previously, no redline, kind gear changes videosorban :D
  7. This is just a quick video of lift in my mate's car in the first three gears. He has the shift performance CAI, not sure on which filter though! Didn't quite hit redline and the shifts are nice and gentle... Disclaimer: not me driving! quicktime video off my phone Loudest sportivo i've heard! comments?
  8. test it when you car is COLD and hasnt been running. the oil will be 40weight when HOT and 5 weight when cold. Not only that after driving here will be oil everywhere all over the crankcase. sit the car overnight then check in the morning.
  9. some dealers may say it doesnt. but when push comes to shove they wont wait to blame the cai, and hit you up for thousands
  10. thanks for the reply. if you dont mind me asking, where did you buy yours from?
  11. anyone able to give me a figure on what a set of Cucso Zero 2's would cost?
  12. Tein dont make FLEX's for the Corolla.
  13. maybe it was worth saying what you have said there in the first place! :P also, afaik the TRD sportivo kit is a shock and spring package, however there should be a TRD 'yellows' coilover dedicated for the runx. Bangn, if your after performance and not comfort go for something like cusco. ps love the video of you eating the honda
  14. basically, i came on abit strong. In my expereince from close friends who have had d2 branded coilovers, they have turned out to be really poor. In both cases the coilovers have turned out to be really poor even for the competative price they are offered for. 2 sets bieng returned and replaced. Needless to say they both dont use d2s any more. From what i have seen and read they are a knock off of the HKS (hypermax) coilovers - even down to the colour scheme on each coilover. The frustration you see in the first post comes as a reault of what believe are people giving their opinion without having any particular idea of what they aretalking about. There is plenty of that on this forum, but that is ok free speech is waht makes forums great. Shaokook, you came here and didnt give much of an input to the thread at all, you just come and troll. Im not sure if you get off on putting people down but hey if thats your thing no worries. i agree to disagree. Im looking for coilovers that are suited more to track flexibility and duribility, not just a coilover that lower your car and keep the ride soft and smooth. Maybe i should start my own thread, ill cop that one didnt meant to hijack. I thought maybe some people who take their cars to tracks would be able to give some sort of input, beore i go and spend 2-3k+ blind to what is good and what i should steer clear of. (forgive the pun) If you like ride comfort, i have some apexi coilovers coming up for sale soon "I think my cuscos are great.... this is talking from first hand experience from the track" - thats what im after. Apples and oranges sometimes. Ive heard from other people with experience that a well match spring and aftermarket shock combination can be just as good as a set of reasonable coilovers. anyway theres my $00.10
  15. good on ya shaokhaok another smartass opinuated comment. why dont you stop giving individuals a hard time on this forum for minor slip ups!
