  3. A little bit of info on the repairs we did on the GT4 is I source a lot of my parts from www.rockauto.com which is difinetly worth a look as I have been getting my parts for my F250 from them I thought I would give them a go for the GT4 parts and they were great, check them out.

  4. Hi all, Thanks to mick.wheelz giving me a couple of afternoons help on the GT4 we put in a refurbished power steering pump, cam belt kit, new alt/ power steer belts and while doing that we put in new seals and gaskets. I sent the turbo in to MTQ and had it fully refurbished as well. The funny think is this all started because a piece of heater hose 2" long broke behind the turbo thanks agai...

  5. Thanks Mick, I have the car up on stands and have everything out back the the exhaust outlets, trying to get to the cam belt at the moment and have found oil leaks so this job looks like it might need some assistance. I am happy to keep going and see the job through but would love some experienced help. I am in between Rosewood and Laidley. So what's the deal mick can you come out on weekends or after work ($$$, etc)? The only tools I am shy are the special service tools they decribe in the workshop manual, etc. Look forward to hearing from you. Neil Harris 0419701082 Neilf250
  6. Hi Guys, I own a 1990 GT4 bought new and only have, 108K on the clock. Problem is a 50mm cooling hose failed behind the turbo, so I thought this would be an opportune time to have the turbo done, replace the cam belt and any other components. I have got the manual for the engine and car, have had the turbo done at MTQ but bugger me there is obviously some tricks to getting to this cam belt and as I am going I am finding oil so I think it is time to ask for HELP. Dose anyone know a good machanic that will travel a little west of Ipswich and understands these engines to help me get this job done and get the car back on the road? Would love some help here, thanks Neil.
