Hey mate,
is that $150 for the set? if so sold :)

A great looking car! I will be joining the 86 club soon too! But don't remove that spoiler, it looks amazing!
Thanks Mike, Yeah i fell in love with the Aero kit and spoiler, Its just on first impressions and some angles the spoiler is a little too much so once the turbo and brake work is finished i will buy either Carbon boot or new / wrecked boot and wrap or paint black
What colour Did you order?

Thats some serious modding!
i cant begin to think how much fun this is ganna be to drive.
Will it be engineered?
Thanks Defyant,
I cant wait for it to be finished,
I have an engineer Locally who will possibly approve it, but will have to switch my pod to K&N Apollo to help reduce attention
Here is a quick clip of what it will be like on take off

You are one of many boosted 86/brz congrats !
Can't wait to see the finished product
Yeah i know, The setup was a Sydney owners old setup
The setup is planned to put out 250Kw at the wheels

Sneak peak everyone! Work started rolling out last night, the vehicle is having custom crash bar made up to fit the intercooler, mounting for Oil cooler and Catch can is being fabricated. Just waiting on 1 oil feed line and braided lines for catch can.
Final parts coming shortly will be Map sensor, Boost gauge and holder and Wastegate spring
Vehicle will be running 12PSI and running e85
Tune date is 30-01-14 so will keep update everyone when finished

Hey mate hope the car is going well, Just read your updated ride and i can confirm the noise you are hearing is the alternator.. It is the 'one-way clutch' inside the alternator causing the issue.. If you remove the belt and move pulley back and forth quickly you will be able to feel it. I have had to replace at least three 2GR alternators for this fault.. Sadly the pricetag on another alternator and work required to replace hurts the pocket.

Car looks mad Blake,
I see it ripping through town all too often,
Soon enough we might have to do a TOCAU photo shoot of all our Gladstone Cars, your mates white 86 included.
Represent! :)
Thanks Zac,
Im having a bit too much fun going through our round-about's,
We really should set up a cruise and photoshoot soon,
BTW, you keep missing the booking for your intermediate shaft.

A friend has a white gts and we are going to switch boots and see what it looks like. A Brisbane 86 owner has already done the switch and it looks amazing with all the curves in the correct places.I reckon take a picture with it on from the rear, then take it off and take another picture and put it back on - it's not hard to put it back - just a few screws and some double sided tape or glue.
Wheels do look amazing on the car - with that price tag and brand wouldn't have expected anything different :D
thanks for the feedback everyone, it has settled and sitting with minimal gap inbetween tyre and body
-
OH SNAP!!
Looks hetick !
Black roof next?
Thanks,
I cant decide on either removing the Aero spoiler and fitting the TRD lip Spoiler or having matte black roof carried out.
** Edit:
Roughly set back $2700

Those are the tail lights I was talking about! $500 a pair lol.
The slim lip looks nice, I always prefer low spoilers or lips - personal choice I guess haha
I have heard good stories about 86drift and there advertised price of $350 is a steal, so i will most likely go for the smoked lenses
Yes i prefer the lip spoilers too and they help pull off the look im wanting.
-
The Rear spoiler does stand out alot, once my wheels are fitted ill see what it looks like although this is what im planning to have the rear looking like.
or full black boot replacement with lip already moulded flush
-
Thank you everyone, the spoiler has grown on me and I don't hate it as much now but im still removing it. Although that won't be for maybe 3 weeks.
vehicles off to have tint fitted today
-
Grats mate, she's a beautiful lookin unit so Jel of all you guys with your new 86's
Thanks Defyant, very happy with the colour as i originally ordered White GTS Without the Aero and switched last month.
