  1. You sir have a long memory!

Yeah I miss it sometimes, something small and chuckable.... my current daily is a mk6 Golf which is nice but about 250kgs heavier and the low rolling resistance 15" tyres aren't the last word in grip haha. Chaser puts a bigger smile on your face when you have the room to wind out the gears. Eastern Creek in 2 weeks!

  2. I can't recommend the Fortune 500s enough ... the Aurion Sportivo felt bumpier than the Chaser lol..

Ah THIS was the feedback I was waiting for. Did you specify different valving/spring rates?

Sick of the D2s on my car already, thinking about ordering the 500s but haven't got any decent feedback except from the Sydney distributor.

  3. That's a nice bit of ammo to use against the people who constantly whinged that it would never be $30k...

    *hand up* guilty as charged

Totally changed my plans for buying a daily later this year. Handful of dollars more than a Golf, similar spec, and oodles of fun. Maybe too much fun, it's not allowed to be "sell the Chaser and buy a 86 GTS" fun.

  4. Yeah John i've been very much MIA since i changed jobs a few years ago, but now i'm back in the office and living in Sydney too :) Will have to venture out at some point.

Works took a bashing from ripple strips and the odd gutter so they're off for fixing up, bought some cheap SSRs for the meantime. Flatmate reckons the silver mesh is better looking than the gunmetal Works, what do you reckon?

  5. Nice. Love the chaser + nice power output

    Thanks :)

would you like power with that :P

just wondering why the air/ fuel ratios curve back into the graph at the end?? :o

    anyways, keep it up!

Thanks Evan. Hope the rolla is going alright.

    Oh the envy. Great stuff.

Not much to be envious of when you're rolling in a TRD. You're still holding a quicker timeslip than me until I can get back up to Sydney dragway!

  6. I was tossing up between the Galaxy S and the new iPwn, the decision was made for me on Friday when every single phone shop everywhere ran out of stock in 10 seconds flat and nobody could give me a real indication of how long it would take to get more iPhones in

48 hours into a 24 month relationship with the Samsung and I'm happy so far.... looks good, does everything, isn't picky about Bluetooth partners (my biggest gripe with Apple) and the Android widgets are kinda cool. Battery life is acceptable considering I've been smashing the WiFi and generally playing with it almost non stop. No hesitation in recommending it based on a weekend's worth of experience.

  7. Would it be believeable that you were on your way to pay your rego when you got done? Thats the only way I see of you being able to get out of it.

Provided you were close to home, you should have come out to the cop with this line straight up. When the rego has expired the car is only drivable for the purpose of getting rego (and even then only to the "nearest" pink slip provider, "nearest" RTA etc).

As it stands now..... yeah, good luck I guess.
