thats exactly what happened to mine..tried using glue but yea ended up glueing the entrie thing shut..ahwells

just discovered my spring was still intact and superglue worked a treat! thought its sticking out just abit..sigh

Best off getting another 2ZZ from a Corolla and dropping it straight in...

Location would help in regards to a wrecker, but last time I went, there was one sitting at SSS Automotive, would be perfect for what you need, head and block with no accessories, get that, swap all your stuff over and away you go...

Just wanted some clarification on this, i have just sourced out a 2zzge engine from the celica. Was just wondering is there any modification needed to drop it into a corolla stivo as the old engine had to go or is it as simple as taking the old motor out and new motor in.

Engines Hydrolocked so i need a new one=[ Have been told to opt towards the 2ZZ from the celica as opposed to the one found in the stivo but im not fussed .

Also if someone knows a trusted toyotas wreckers where i might be able to find this it'll be great!
