  1. MORE BAD NEWS!!!!!!

Since I got my car back for the clutch issue, I've done 500kms on the car.

Today when I decided to clean my garage. Moved my car out and I've found a puddle of oil on the floor!!!

I was like WTF, grab a touchg ,getunder the car and found that my diff have a slow leak in it, and oil were all over the under tray.

The workman ship of this dealer is bloody shocking!!!!

Lucky this happen saturday arvo, otherwise they're so getting their ***** kick in.

No I can't drive my car anyway because I don't want to cause further damage.

My question is, do I have the rights to request for a new diff?? since I don't know how much damage it caused.

I had a pretty bad run with this Werribee Toyota so far, any other dealer ou guys recommand? How about melbourne city toyota? what are they like?

  2. I've ask how could this happen when the car only done 7ks... they didn't give me a straight answer.

I'm pretty sure they've done a patch up job.

I'm keeping all my receipts from services and warrenty claim. 3yrs later when my warrenty expires, at least i have some prove shows that my box had being fix under warrenty and they only patch up the problem!!!

I was so stupid not to get extended warrenty think this is gonna be a reliable car!!!!

So far I've being back 3 times for warrenty claims....... not a happy jan

  3. Morning all

On sunday, while I was crusing with music off. I can hear chirping sounds coming from the front. However that sounds dissapear when I depress the clutch.

Took it to toyota yesterday, they can't work out what is going on and have to rebook it so they can take out the gear box and find out the course.

They reckon the noise is coming from the pressure place finges.

I've already rebook to have the box pull out.

I was woundering if anyone here have the same problem and what was the result to this problem.

My car is a 05 sportivo with 6800ks on the clock.

    Thanks :(

  4. Hi

Recently I've realised my 05 sportivo is doing something weird on cold start.

When you crank your key over. It start to rev to 2K rpm then quickly bog to 1000-1200rpm then slowly rise back to 1800K.

Sometimes it'll bogs down even more and sounds like it'll stall!!!!!

This is not normal isn't it? :(

  5. I'm finally I've made it to 1000ks on my clock.

I will like to know which toyota will be the best to take to for 1000ks service in melbourne? or i'll need to take the car back to Rick Wolany? (where I got it from)

I don't really want to take it there as I have a few things will like them to have a look at but they can only book me in for monday - friday as they need more time to look at my car.

Also, does all toyota charge $$$ for their courtesy cars? When I was with subaru, they just give me a car as long as they have 2 weeks notice. I was suprise toyota want $33 for it.

  6. Hello

Has anyone got problems with their windows being scratch by just opening and closing them?

I've only had my car for 5 days and I already notice I got some nice scratchs on my windows.

Is there anyway I can stop this happening.

And before telling me go and wash my car, I did and it still making scratches.

  7. With your gear shifts, give it another 100km or so to give yourself a chance to get used to the car.

If this persists i'd take it straight back.

Also, a question for you Colmen.

What colour is your Sportivo, and what is the build date?

I'm just curious as to how many Sportivo's are left, they would have to be running out soon.

My was built on OCT 05 colour 3E5 (red). The car is in melbourne

Um.... still crunching on third unless I give it a bit more rev. Still running my car in so really don't want to rev it that hard

Hi and welcome Colemen! Your gear box is tight when its new, give yourself and the car

    time to adjust.

Did you purchase your Tivo from Rick Wolany in Werribee?

    Kind regards......................

Thats correct. I just pick it up last sat morning after I trading in my wrx

    How did you guess that?

  9. Hi All

Just pickup a new sportivo last sat and I've got a couple of question about this car.

I've read a few post about the "recall" as the car was not producing enough power as stated so they do a ecu swap. Do this affect the 05 sportivo as well?

This morning when I drive the car to work, everytime when I change to 3rd, i can feel a "crunch". But if I rev it higher then 4000rpm the crunch seems to gone. Is this normal?

And I also find that its difficult to put it in reverse.

My car only done 180km, should I take this back before my initial 1000ks service or the car should be ok to drive until its due for its service?

    Thanks

    Col
