Hi guys ive just bought a 94 camry station wagon and have just found out the head gasket is gone :( .... my question is would it be worth getting it fixed or am i better off buying a second hand engine? or even selling it as parts?

what motor is in it... the 4cyl or the v6... can you do the work yourself? and where are you located?

its a 4cyl,ive never worked on a motor before and im from wollongong NSW. sorry i forget to put this info in my first post lol

Hey guys i have just bought my first ever toyota so i thought id join a toyota forum for some advice. I live in Wollongong NSW and im into keeping/breeding reptiles,fishing and spending time with my wife and daughter.I work as a barman/night manager.I have just bought a 94 Camry s/wagon which im very happy with sofar(seeing as tho it cost me $200 lol) ive noticed a few little things wrong like roof lining drooping,t bar shifter very sloppy and the radiator overflow bottle has no lid,just a hose going into it (maybe the reason the car looses water?)im just wondering if there are any other things to look for before i re-regester it? looking forward to chatting to a few new people in the future ;)
