love your presentation... very nice ride too!!! love white very much
  2. nice car dude, what's your ride then? yeh....wats ur ride dude...c'mon he actually doesn't own a car... wahahahhahaha
  3. DC2R and AE111 are really no comparison... DC2R wins by miles as they are not built for the same market... EK4 or EM1 though... will be very close match with AE111 since they all had a 4-door sedan variant and same engine capacity and very similiar engine output... then again... i'd say hondas are more passionated and performance oriented so they build very good driver's cars i reckon the gen7 celica would probably be a better comparison to the DC2R... similiar layout but celica has no LSD and got more weight... so yea... DC2R is still the winner
  4. very nice car!!! wanna swap mine?
  5. Delvance The Super Strut is known to be trouble for it's lower joint. these ones i'm talking about It got a relatively short life if you push it hard. They keep knocking and give you extra steering free-play when they are dead. Only good thing is that they are not exxy to replace (around $70 each) got a few more pics for you guys
  6. hi all... i've been around since i had the echo a few years back... didn't contribute much back then... now i have an AE111 levin and think i should be introducing myself here... the car is a 98 BZ-R 6-speed with super strut (aka super trouble) suspension... not as powerful as the stivos but it's fun to drive... here is a pic of my ride enjoy!! P.S. hope i'm not wrong to post my ride in the 'rolla section
  7. as my name suggests... i drive Echo... but that was history... i have an AE111 now
  8. stock as rock when i did the 1/4mile time and i ran RON98 instead of RON100 recommended in the owners manual Delvance... you will love AE111... trust me :P
  9. T145 is an AE111 let's say it hits 100km/hr in 8s from standing still. but it did a remarkable 0-400m time IMHO. note that the left most T72 result belong to a stivo owner on this site by the way, who has really driven an AE111 here??
  10. this sounds really offensive please read my previous post. i said i would rather go for handling mods over engine mods. i suggested tom's ECU and the rev to 11000rpm thingy because grima88 mainly concerned about power at the moment. i know it sounds very extreme but isn't that you guys after? not sure if you guys like this one this is even better than normal CAI i'm just suggesting possibilities. are we not discussing about potential and stuffs? now grima88, i would really suggest an AE111 firstly because i'm biased. and secondly they look heaps better :)
  11. AE111 can run 0-100km/hr at low 7s and 0-400m at low 15s and round wakefield at 1:18.06 (stock) as for mod for the blacktop. a tom's ECU will let it rev up to 11000rpm safe. you don't need CAI but individual throttles. full exhaust is always nice
  12. i'm not sure about this one... but do you mean that forged pistons (stock in blacktop) is weaker than conventional pistons (found in silvertop)?? i do agree silvertop has a higher potential to mod. this is because blacktop is designed to it's best. that means no further modification is needed for the engine (if you are happy with the 165ps output). plus AE111 is only a FF and not about outright power. and i think 165ps of engine output is very reasonable. i would rather spend on handling mods over engine mods in any days. i understand different people have different opinions and ideas. i'm only expressing myself with my poor english
  13. AE111 can be called Corolla Sprinter (this name is common in Japan and USA) or Corolla Levin or Corolla Trueno or Toyota Levin or Toyota Trueno or Levin or Trueno... whatever you like to call it Trueno and Levin are two different model with only body work differences there is a saying that Trueno is for Japanese domestic market where Levin is for overseas markets (but you can find both Trueno and Levin in Japan) there is also a saying that the appearance of Trueno is more sporty where Levin is more Luxury there are also different grades of AE111... BZ-V, BZ-G, BZ-R (after 98 facelift) where only BZ-R is equiped with 6-sp LSD gearbox, super strut suspension and different rear spoiler I can only confirm that Trueno got a smaller turning circle (according to some Jap web source) this is a facelift Levin BZ-R (stock) this is a facelift Trueno (XZ??) with black head light plus aftermarket rims (posted by grima88)
  14. very nice wakefield park pics!! what time did you pull at the track??
