Ahhh nice purchase. I myself have just upgraded from my tired old 92 lux to an 02 model of the exact same car. As far as the 5k services go, unless there is something wrong with the engine i would do them myself. New oil and filter, fuel filter and possibly air cleaner depending on how dusty your driving environment is. Only problem i have found so far is my remote keyless entry is not working??

Hi all, 1st post(only cause my hilux is so reliable) Anyway i was driving along the other day when the charge light, T-belt light and water drain light all came on at once. I checked over the engine, belts were fine, drained the fuel filter, checked fuses etc but its still no good. Im thinking it may be an electrical problem somewhere as i find it hard to believe i've had multiple failures all at once. Anyone got any ideas?
