  1. 1. Remove the back seat. Remove the bottom seat first by grabbing the bottom cushion and suddenly pulling it upwards. Do this on both left and right side. Undo the screws (located at the bottom) of the back seat. It's best to undo the seat belts holding down bolts as well. Use 12mm & 14mm sockets respectively. Then lift the back seat until it disengages from the back hooks. 2. Remove the top left & right side trims. Simply by pulling them out with a little sudden pull. 3. Now you can remove the back dash. Again by sudden lift, then slide it towards you. 4. You now have access to the back speakers. Undo them using 10mm sockets. To fit in a new 6x9 speakers, you need to fabricate a spacer to fit them properly. Using the original speakers base as template, I used 12mm MDF board (from Bunnings), as a spacer. I fitted in a JL audio 6x9 3way speakers (cost $180) and they sound great. You can distinguished the difference from the original speakers.
