  1. Hi guys,

I am thinking of put Kings super low spring on my 05 Sportivo

    .....Super Low Front: KTFL-105SL

    .....Super Low Rear: KTRL-106SL

Will they fit my car or they are only for pre-facelift? How stiff is that? 3-4K?

    Thanks guys

Sheldon, the cars are the same no difference between the suspension of 03/04 and 05 sportivos.

I have a set of superlow front and rear springs, I will swap for your Tein's if you like.

    who's got the Teins??

are they any good?? compeared to king spring??

i just got a qoute of $540 to get a set of Tein springs fitted...

    is that good??

hi, I got Teins springs on my sportivo. It is cool for daily driving and provide much better controling than the stock. Also the car looks good! But now I am seeking more performance and hard cornering.

Tein is definitely more expensive than Kings. They said it is gentler to the stock shocks.

sounds like a deal you can't refuse!!!! win win all round!!

Really? I would like to do that. :D Thank you so much~~

I drove Karen's car with Kings springs. Felt lots of better than mine honestly.

Plan to get cusco sway bar as well.

  3. I always get a chuckle out of the almost standard response to car comparison threads on this forum. these include, but are not limited to:

"It all comes down to the driver", "It's stupid to compare cars"....etc

first off, the whole point of owning different cars is to compare them. bring up all their good aspects and all their downfalls. that is the whole point - otherwise we'll all be driving standardised Holden "yobo"dores.

also, the whole "the driver makes the car" excuse is like a stupid school kid trying to come up with an excuse why he didn't do his homework. There is absolutely a way to measure which is the faster car. If you have to rely on the other driver to mis-shift for you to win a race, then there's seriously something wrong.

IMO if indeed the Sportivo is slower than a comparable car, the humble thing to do would be to just admit it. This forum is open to the public and we all just look like complete tools when a few of us make ego-driven farsical claims. I know the Sportivo is not the fastest car on the street - I've had egg on my face many times to prove it. but i don't drive fast enough on the street (anymore) to notice the difference so i don't care. The performance it does have makes me happy, so again, i don't care.

    anyway, that's my 2cents.

    Nice conclusion!

    But still Sportivo, FTW~~~

  4. LOL.... now i remember....it was you order_last 1 that i followed back to belco....

and then when i wasnt paying attention you missed the turn, and i followed you

    damn uriarra road! U-Turn FTW!

I always miss that turn! 1 time it took me 1/2 hour to realise that! :P
