  1. 1NZ all the way have the YRX auto sedan in 1.5L and its sluggish compared to the YRS 4 door hatch manual.

Why theyve a 1.3L option loses me huh.gif

The YRS is a 1.5L. The YR is the 1.3L. YRX is basically a YRS with a bodykit, different wheels and foglights :P

I know ive purchased 3 Yaris's at hail damaged auctions of late and know all the lil ins & outs of the cars...

Gets me is the Sedan version of both YRS / YRX's has the hideous steering wheel that looks plain jane but on the hatch you've the nice steering wheel with audio controls !

Love the YRX rims but other then that id have the YRS overall, in theory if the YRX is the sportier version atleast throw in some decent seats like the MY03 Echo Sportivo's...Another one of my hail purchases :spiteful:

  2. Spot on the YR model has the non 6 stacker interface compared to the YRS which has the 6 disc "load" feature for multiple discs.

YRX on the other hand is the bluetooth enabled setup and has the same load feature as per YRS.

ps: fantastic cars and with electric steering handle suprisingly well.

Drive a 1.7 tonne Aristo you'll know the meaning of boat.

  3. It's a moot point... if you can afford the 1.5, get it :)

I bought mine on the premise it was a 1.5 but found out otherwise later :P

A couple of mods later and it runs a lot better but being a manual helps.

In summary: do NOT buy a 1.3L Auto! Manual will be OK though :)
