2011 KX-S Cosmos Blue

Can someone please tell me if the current MY2014 Rav 4 has rear seat air conditioning vents.

'Price way too high' ? - but its cheaper than the old and you get more (or less depending on the rear window and seat split etc).

What alternative did you go for?

So has anyone bought one yet and wants to comment ?

We have just ordered our 4x2 Grande in Dynamic Blue.

Due to the very sharp pricing our dealer gave us, we have to wait around 3 months for our delivery. A while but worth it. (i hope).

My only real disapointment with the AU spec Klugers is that we dont have the opportunity to have the panoramic sunroof in the vehicle. We are stuck with the blu-ray/small sunroof combo.

I would have liked the captains chair options in the second row, like the last model, but the wife prefers the console storage for her seemlingly giant handbag. Cant win them all i guess.

So what equals sharp pricing. Maybe there should be a new thread with prices being posted - lease values v outright purchase.

What's the 'very sharp' pricing you refer to?

One question I would like answered is have they fixed the security of the spare (refer other posts)

Note sure if you have seen the clip which is solely on Kluger seating. It pops up as a series of different thumbnails after the main video. It starts with a girl putting her surfboard in at the beach. In the voice over and video they actually mention captain's chairs and show the centre bit sliding out of the centre console just like it does now.

Maybe its just a Grande 'thing' as I agree other videos look to show a 60:40. But then again they say Kluger this, Kluger that and in some other cases they say Grande (auto boot down).

RE the captain's chairs from the first post - they are still there. Just look at the video on the seating arrangements and they are still there.

I am favouring the picture 1 above with the winding socket bar linked through the top of the winding bot and the tape to secure in place. Don't have a tow bar so cant do that option. Its amaising that Toyota have an option for Prado and RAV 4 and not this one. can't wait until I buy a new one in Nov next year and play games with the salesman (if they haven't fixed it by then on the new model).

So, I got the car back from a service yesterday to be told the spare wheel cover is missing. I straight away said (I think about 3 times) the spare tyre is there its just the cover missing? To which the reply was - the spare is there. I was told to look at the web as it has 'all about it'.

Now just wondering have I been lucky and perhaps the no gooders were spoiled in their attempt or ....

Hi, after a lot of issues with the original head unit (refer previous posts) it looks like I might be getting a replacement one under warranty.

Does anyone have specs of the new v old or more importantly used both the old and the new and therefore have a view on whether the new is an improvement in terms of bluetooth connectibility etc.

Getting this afternoon 4 Yokohama 255 55 R19 for my Kluger Grande. Each $400 filled with nitrogen. It was the cheapest I could get them!!!

Couldn't find any reviews of fellow Klugers using these tyres so I don't know what to expect, and never used Yokohama before but there are good reviews overall in the net about these tyres so I'll give it a go and let you all know.

The Bridgestone D400 cost $389 each but wanted to try something else. Currently 45000kms and they need replacement already.

45,000 - I only got 28k. I would be laughing if I had that.

Interestingly Bob Jane wanted to do 36, I asked for 38, maybe back now to get 40

We looked at the Dynamic Blue but decided on the Cosmos Blue. Didn't like the way that the DB changed colour depending on whether the sun was in or out or shining fully on roof and not directly on sides.

There are things you buy on ebay and there are things you don't buy on ebay. Not sure where the tyres fit into this. Can you buy balancing, alignment, fitting onto rims off ebay as well???

Agree its the sides that are gone but the middle strip is also gone on some. What do you run 38 psi. Thats what I have just moved to.

IMHO it will come here or at least a diesel version. However, if they said it was coming in 12 months it might stop people buying now. Thoughts - do peeps agree?

Ring up a dealer ansd ask for MRRP. What one person pays is irrelevant as he might have purchased every accessory known and thus got a 50% discount on these or got the best trade in his life but paid for it in no discount on accessories.

Hi, mine was replaced under warranty yesterday - same part # was 'wilsact'. Will take it for a drive on the weekend and see if it feels any different.

Personal opinion re Toyota BT is that its crap compared to other manufacturers. If I was a tradesman then I wouldn't be wanting to use my Toyota BT between jobs.

So has no one purchased tyres in the past 2 weeks for current model Kluger with 19" wheels. Surely someone has, please!!!
