QPS generally replace cars every 60-70,000. At my station we go through close to 2 cars a year. We are a single car station so we cover some kms.

If it's a white one it would have been a General Duties car which means it would have been flogged. I say this because i do alot of the flogging on them in my division haha. They dont jump gutters really well but i'm sure a few people i have arrested could attest to their ability to brake pretty quickly forcing said persons to lurch forward into perpex divider in car.

For those of you playing along at home the toyota service centre have diagnosed the problem as being with the rear suspension. It is apparenlty leaking and as such is causing the knocking noise. Parts have been ordered and will be replaced under warranty next week so lets hope it does the job.

I have an 2009 SX6. I have just started to notice a knocking noise coming from the rear of the car, but it only happens when you get to about 60+km/hr. Will be ringing the dealer on monday but just wondering if others have had this or any ideas what it might be.
