Hi I have a Toyota Hilux 1992 and im looking to get a gas conversion on it, because the carburetor is stuffed and needs replacing. I was told a reconditioned carby is about $600, which is why i was thinking i should use that money on getting the Hilux converted. But when i called around for a quote i was told that a gas conversion on an older car such as mine is a bad idea. Because of the damage it will cause to the valve seals and i'll have to overhaul the head in a very short time. If anybody has any advice or has converted an older car to gas and had problems with it your feedback would be much appreciated. Thank You
