I have a 100 Series on dual fuel, I am not sure of the economy on petrol but I am only achieving 25l per 100km on lpg around the metro area with some 80km cruising. I have a snorkel fitted to improve air flow, I recently read about the aftermarket air filters (the layers of sponge soaked in oil) causing problem, I am going to buy a Ryco paper element filter and see if there is any improvement. Can any one else suggest ways of improving the economy from "super heavy to just heavy consumption"! What are others getting from their LPG powered beasts?

Hi Guys, I am new to the forum. What is the Kiwi MPG monitor you are talking about? I have a 100 series on petrol LPG I am in the same boat I get 25L/100km around town (driving modestly). I read with interest the comments about the "sponge- oil after-market air filters and the damage the oil vapors do to the air sensor, I will try a Ryco paper element filter. I will methodically work around the problem, what I want to know is what other 100 Series owners on LPG are getting around town with a small blend of highway cruising (Hopefully better than 25/100KM) Regards - Justice
