  1. Ahhh right, didn't even realise that was connected. Thanks a bunch for the help! :)
  2. Thanks for the reply! What do you mean the steering wheel display button? Is it something on the steering wheel itself? Does this mean I would need to change the entire wheel?
  3. I have a chance to buy the instrument cluster off an 09 presara but just wondering if it will work in my 07 ATX? Will I be able to get the LCD screen and information on it working (temperature/doors open sensors/fuel consumption etc) or will this not be possible? Also will it be a simple plug and play type thing or are there individual wires? Thanks!
  4. Just an update if anyone has to do this... As Paradigm mentioned, there are four nut/bolts across the bottom. However, I also found I had to take an additional two nut/bots from the left and two from the right, so there were 8 to take out in total. After undoing all 8 and the clips it comes apart pretty easily, just have to watch the seal that connects both pieces. Lucky for me, only one nut/bolt was a pain. They all came out relatively easy except that one....which almost caused a lot of swearing and frustration :)
  5. Oh wow, thanks for the info and detailed description. That'll come in handy! :D
  6. Hi Guys Just got an 07 Sportivo rear bumper painted and the guy accidentally painted the black lip, so now the whole thing is silver. I've rang him back and he has acknowledged his mistake and is willing to take the paint back on the lip. The only problem is transporting the whole bumper back to him. I'm wondering if the back lip is detachable from the bumper itself? I would assume so, as I don't think it would be one mould. If it is, does anyone know how to safely detach it from the bumper? (The bumper is NOT attached to the car) I'll take a look at it when I get home tonight, but would be good if someone knows about this/has done it before :) Cheers!
  7. Haha yeah white looks sick. Where is the cheapest place to get the modifications done whilst not compromising quality? I'm in a similar situation, just turned 20, got my silver aurion ATX ('07), good condition, 90000 k's. Spoiler: If you can paint/fit it yourself, best bet is probably ebay. For $200 delivered you can get your hands on it. Rims: Shop around, but IMO wait until your tyres need replacing before you get new rims (unless you're just gonna get 16" alloys)...because tyres are expensive and rim+tyre packages are generally cheaper Fog lights: get them! Another $200ish on ebay Head unit: really up to you, wont affect exterior look but comes in handy Also I'd say to get a bonnet protector if you are doing hwy driving (stone chips are not cool!). As bad as a bit of plastic on the bonnet sounds...it isn't actually that bad. Ummm for everything else look around on these forums, do a few searches, its amazing what you can find. And of course, good luck with the car, drive safely! Thanks mate. How much am I looking at for the installation of fog lights and spoiler if I don't do it myself In relation to the head unit, I really don't have much experience with the mechanics behind cars etc, is every head unit compatible to fit with the Aurion, or are there certain requirements? And the wiring... should that be done through an auto electrician? Not a problem ;) Not really sure on installation, but I would say for something like the spoiler where it will need to get painted to make sure you go somewhere with a good reputation. Sometimes if you go to a cheaper place you may find that they will not match the paint properly, say they did....all sorts of problems. There are a few threads here on head units, most of the OEM clones on ebay (search: aurion GPS) fit, look part of the car and work extremely well for their price (they are around $5-600...go to jb hifi and something with similar specs can cost you almost $2k!)
