  1. Hi, I've just bought a 1964 Corona (RT40) and am wanting to restore to original or as close as I can get. Really new to the whole idea of restoring a car and don't really know where to start. My first port of call is to replace the rubbers on the windscreen and rear window. Then the side windows as they are all perished and I don't want to keep letting water in :( I've tried online to chase it down but with not much luck. Rarespares have one but it comes at a premium. Found ones on eBay but they come from the Thailand and I'm not sure if I should trust them as they are after market. I don't want to pay for them and find they don't fit properly or worse that they only last a couple of years before they start to perish. Thanks for your wisdom. I'm looking forward to many years of restoring this beaut little car :)
