Is there still a meet happening tomorrow, where and what time?

that first red hatch looks like it has the front end from the Toyota Altis or the us spec 9th gen corolla and then the rear end looks all Holden/daewoo viva hatch.
read about this before, there really isn't a copyright law for car design so they can knock off whatever they please

when a car goes into an insurance company's assessment center they take photos of the damage and panel shops then look at the photos and submit quotes on the damage so i do belive they would be able to quote on the repairs provided your mate takes propper photos so the panel shops he sends them to can get a full idea on what repairs are needed.
does your mate not have insurance or something?
what kinda car is it?
It's a Civic sedan, hit side on on the drivers side guard. Airbags went off too.

Hi Helpful People :D
I have a friend who's car was hit and is now undrivable (fooked drive shaft).
The car is sitting at a friends place and he's not sure on how to go about obtaining quotes to repair the damage with the car being undrivable.
Is his only option to have a tow truck take the car from panel shop to panel shop which I imagine would be rather expensive!

YAY !!!
they should make the DEATH penalty for peeps who use fog lights at daytime..
WHY IS IT NESSISARY ?!?!?!?!
its so dumb to use them at day.. not like it help vision LMFAO !!!
I do on gloomy days, or when driving on a bad road. Quite simply it helps blind idiots to be able to see me and avoid accidents

How about winding the window down and yelling out psssstt on every gear change. Doesn't cost a cent.
:P

I've seen the Weds on a blue car and they looked great.

No matter how much power, Traction is always going to be biatch because of the physics of the FWD layout. He can try compensate with a rock hard suspension set up and very sticky rubber, but then this will bugger up any real world handling and driving.
Still kudos for doing the work for making it strong and not doing dodgies, but not my taste.

Panel Beaters...
Buy stolen parts cheap - Charge customer or Insurance co for full genuine rrp and then make more profit.
Getting more common.
My friends Statesman was stolen, next afternoon found stripped of interior (leather seats, dash etc). Drivers seat was replaced with a milk crate and an old kingswood steering wheel put in place just to be able to move the car to dump it where it was found.
Tell me that sort of stuff isn't "to order" or pre-planned.

You spending almost more than what the car will be worth ?
You must make alot of money, Know its all a personal thing but I rather just get something quicker from the start, less problems too
-
People seem to spend more on Bling, Rice and Ice than performance...
-
I think it cool
I also like the idea of bigger capacity motor for sport model.

The lack of torque at low rpm combined with the slight hesitation from the electronic throttle body doesn't help.
When taking off, just use a little more throttle when slipping out your clutch and you will get moving alot more smoothly. ;)

Dragon lady sounds like your typical pompas eurotrash dumb@rse ****** who doesn't live in the real world.

Just ease them straight up gently with a flat head screwdriver, if they break, don't fret they only cost 1.50 at toyota.
