I'll be at Sparkling Carwash cnr of Sevenoaks rd and Burwood Hwy Burwood east from about 2.30, if you would like to catch up, you know where I'll be :D
that first red hatch looks like it has the front end from the Toyota Altis or the us spec 9th gen corolla and then the rear end looks all Holden/daewoo viva hatch. read about this before, there really isn't a copyright law for car design so they can knock off whatever they please
Hi Helpful People :D I have a friend who's car was hit and is now undrivable (fooked drive shaft). The car is sitting at a friends place and he's not sure on how to go about obtaining quotes to repair the damage with the car being undrivable. Is his only option to have a tow truck take the car from panel shop to panel shop which I imagine would be rather expensive!
No matter how much power, Traction is always going to be biatch because of the physics of the FWD layout. He can try compensate with a rock hard suspension set up and very sticky rubber, but then this will bugger up any real world handling and driving. Still kudos for doing the work for making it strong and not doing dodgies, but not my taste.
Panel Beaters... Buy stolen parts cheap - Charge customer or Insurance co for full genuine rrp and then make more profit. Getting more common. My friends Statesman was stolen, next afternoon found stripped of interior (leather seats, dash etc). Drivers seat was replaced with a milk crate and an old kingswood steering wheel put in place just to be able to move the car to dump it where it was found. Tell me that sort of stuff isn't "to order" or pre-planned.
You spending almost more than what the car will be worth ?
You must make alot of money, Know its all a personal thing but I rather just get something quicker from the start, less problems too
The lack of torque at low rpm combined with the slight hesitation from the electronic throttle body doesn't help. When taking off, just use a little more throttle when slipping out your clutch and you will get moving alot more smoothly. ;)
Hi. [Melbourne] Silver Corolla Hatch, lowered, wheels, no body kit, but sounded nice with twin rectangle shape exhaust tips. Went quick when I tried to give this guy a run :o His tyres churped at gear change. Is this someone here?
