  1. Hi all Just picked up a new KX-S on Friday :D. It's all good but having a few issues with the stereo system. I can stream music from my iphone over bluetooth (nice), I can connect my phone for calls etc but a couple of things defeat me. 1. Although it is supposed to support ipod integration, when I plug my iphone in to try and play audio through a cable it just says "LOAD" on the Kluger's screen and you can't do anything else (the phone recognises it as a audio dock and disables controls in anticipation that the car will control it). I haven't tried it with a standard ipod but has anyone had any luck with this? 2. THe bluetooth doesn't seem to support Address book synchronisation - I assume it is not fully supporting the BT Hands Free profile. On my Blueant portable unit and on my old Dodge Journey, the address book was automatically downloaded and on the phone you can see the options to synchronise address books etc. On the kluger there are no options listed on the phone and the address book can't be downloaded. Anyone managed to achieve this ? Also, there doesn't seem to be a manual for the audio unit - should I have got one from the dealer ? Cheers Andy
  2. We got the aftermarket ones. Picked up the car on Friday - they new kluger has grey plastic bumpers so no colour matching required. Very happy with them although they are a little quiet compared to others I have experienced in the past (on a Honda Odyssey). All up really happy with the car. Drives nicely, really smooth and build quality seems upto usual standard. (a million times better than the "Dodgey" Dodge we traded in)
  3. The response from the dealer is interesting :- Depends if you want toyota genuine or after market. We dont make a cent on the toyota genuine but we have a target per month .. therefore have to promote them first.. The aftermarket ones are $515... In my opinion they are exactly the same as i have had both genuine and aftermarket on my car any thoughts on genuine toyota vs the aftermarket ???
  4. Thanks - they are quoting $695 just for the reversing sensors (not front). Will go back and get them the sharpen their pencils...
  5. Hi all, I pickup my new Kluger later in the week (KX-S 2WD) and am discussing a couple of options with the dealer. 1. Roadside assist - they are offering a 6 year roadside assist for $60pa through www.nationalra.com I was surprised it wasn't Toyota Extra Care Roadside Assist. Anyone got any experience with this ? Also, wondering whether to get reversing sensors. I know it has the reversing camera but the screen is pretty small and the lens is a fisheye. What are peoples thoughts ? Reversing sensors worth it or is the camera adequate? Cheers Andy
