Does it still cover by waranty if u lower it?
-
I have no idea. Mine u tho the Carbon fibre is stronger than fibre glass. Alot of people using fibre glass now days, so i don't see a prob with carbon. But this is just my opinion, i don't know if it's street legal.
-
Yep have check with my insurance and they said no prob. :)
1zz-fe is right, with 18" u might loose some confort over 17" due to lower profile tyres. But i don't mind, because i have a fat *****, so it is still comfortable for me :D :D
So netz go for 18", man.

The WRX looks like it has a carbon fibre bonnet. Must cost a mint ;)
oh yeah, my brother changed it to carbon fibre about 2 days ago. I think he just want to compete with me cos stivo looks better than his Rexy :D :D I like the finish of it. Looks cool ;)

Installing a sunroof actually reduces the torsion support of the chassis to the body 'twists' more in cornering, so decided against it.. But each to their own... But you could always add a roll cage, if only they were street legal....
I don't feel any different btw with or without sunroof. Anyway I don't race that often, so I think it's OK :) :)

hey man,
nice car btw....abt the sun roof, how come u wer able to get it wid the car...?? was it done in south africa wer the car was built or was it done jst b4 u got it, coz i remember asking for it n i wasnt allowed to get it, or they couldnt do it...
anyways, u hab a very nice car...
Well it was fiitted here. The salesman told me that it was fiited by the people who fit fot the Lexus.
One of my friend with a factory sunroof on his Levin happens to like mine more than his, because the button on mine is more smaller and its automatically close when u turn off the ignition.

it only happened to me once or twice since i got the car but been doing it lots in the last few days. and i wasn't even on the brakes! my garage front has a very slight slope. sometimes i let it roll back a little as the clutch engages, and in the last 2 days it has made that groaning sound. so i dunno if its coz of me being too nice to it or something... :P
or maybe u haven't been treating her nicely before thats why? ;)

Nikich is right about the locations. I usally go to the BP at Albion Park Rail or the Shell at Shellharbour. I use Optimax more often because i do find that better in the Stivo than Ulimate. Also i shop at Coles so i get cheaper fuel at Shell. With Mobil, no luck around here with Synergy 8000.
Zee
Really?
I used to go to shell before, but after using Bp Ultimate, i think i like it more. It feels lighter and smoother on the start.

so Toyota pay for all this mod ha? Lucky u, because i have to pay for bending the tip myself. Thanks for the pics. btw why don't u get whole tip done, ie star from the drum? But it's all good.

Moved over to the Wollongong area driving a Blue Sportivo (Stock) with sportivo grille and bumber skirt (cut with exhaust extention to aliviate a bumper melting issue, now solved on the third attempt!!!!).
Welcome Blue_Sportivo_VVTLi.
Do u mind showing me a picture of u'r cut bumber skirt. btw did u just cut or u also put something to cover the cut? Sorry if does not make sense.

"coolant stain" huuuum....
I think i had that shown since the first day i got my car. Washed off straight away 2 days after but it's back on, even a little bit of residual on the oil filter.
But there isn't any leaking shown and i never top up the coolant.
Is there anybobody having these residual shown too?

also had a badge stuck onto his front stock grill, it was a TT. one T was white, and one was red, never seen anything like it before. anyone know wot branding it is?
U meant the " t-sport" sticker, i.e small white T pff surround it with Big Red T.
I've got one of those too on my grill, but my car is black
