Hi guys i have a rav4 2001 or 2002 model 3 door cruizer, When i start her up she seems to like take off quick revs high maybe the auto choke on it. I have been in Rav4 later models 5door and they don't seem to do that. I wish i upgraded a little to 5door when i brought it things like glass sunroof as opposed to plastic in the 2001 model. Just of late when i start it i noticed some smoke too big puff of blue i think, goes away after 10seconds of going. There are other things i think Toyota should of done, like the doors fly open fast, on later models it seems to stop 1/2 way then re open, but on the 2001 models the doors swing open way to fast. I'ts not a bad car , just a few faults anything else i should keep an eye on?, its approaching 150km soon i hope the clutch doesn't go or something. Anyone other Rav4 owners 3door same year what do you like about them? and do you get that start up take of fast issue.
