First post, I did some quick searches but didnt find anything on this topic so... My employer has just got a new work vehicle, its a Hilux, brand new (unsure of exact model if this matters?). One of the options they had put in (must be aftermarket) is a Polaris PID 3619G GPS/entertainment/phone/etc system (my experience with this so far is mediocre for anyone thats looking at it - can provide more feedback if youre interested). Unfortunately the steering wheel controls for things like volume etc do not work. Ive had a quick look in the manual at the connectors on the back of the unit and reached around and felt the back of it (with much difficulty - anyone know how to get easier access to this area?) and it feels as though there is a cable plugged into the port where the steering wheel controls are meant to go. The end of this cable also feels like its plugged into something which I assume is the connector for the controls which leads into the dash wiring loom. It was installed by the dealer where we bought it, so Im not 100% sure what goes where. Has anyone had any experience with this particular setup and knows what might be going on/what the problem is/what needs to be done to fix it, or should I fire up my multimeter and see if I can work out how to re-wire the socket so it works? :) Most likely I will spend some time over the weekend to have a play/look around, but figured I'd ask around aswell. :) Merry christmas all. Tom
