Toyota has named the FT-86 *drum roll*....."86".

i rather it just be named something new and market the car as a comeback to the old days of supra, mr2, celica, etc...rather than go heritage with the 86 name
just realised this is the successor of the ae86 so i can understand why the name now

Also, FT is short for Future Toyota and is used on some of their concept cars (e.g. FT-EV, FT-SX & FT-HS).
