Howdy people, Have been given a Prado diesel and as this is my first diesel I have little to no idea whats going under the hood. Would like to take it to a good diesel mechanic to give it a good once over. Can anyone recommend one, I am in the city but am willing to travel a bit. I just inherited my dads car. 2001 Toyota Landcruiser Prado RV 3.0 Diesel Turbo. Just wondering where people go for parts and what not. As i need to get a new fuel filter and the attachment on top(i believe its the fuel primer?) First time working on a diesel and a toyota for that matter. Any advise would be muchly appreciated. BTW do these have a fuel pump? Or do they run solely off the pressure from the injector pump?
