I've got an old 78 Toyota Coaster RB11 motor home with worn out alternator brushes on the 20R petrol motor. I've got it apart to a certain extent to replace the brushes, but I can't withdraw the rear aluminium casting where the brushes are housed. I don't want to force it as I'll probably break something. Anyone have any ideas how to get it off?
