  1. Hey all,

As some of you may already know, this month in august there is no official cruise booked in, so the normal end of month meet at villawood will be going on as normal. That said, the boofins in the cruise trust have brewed up a trip down south. We have taking to route many times before and, due to the success of previous turn outs, we have decided to run it again.

So here is the map link of the cruise:

    http://maps.google.com.au/maps?f=d&sou....469177&z=9

    When: Saturday 26/09/09

Time: Meet at Villawood at 8:30am for a 9:00am leave time

    Running time: approx 5hrs

All normal cruise rules will apply (will post a copy up here soon) and a copy will be available on the day. If you dont understand them, dont come :D

Things to pack: Full tank of Fuel, CB's fully charged, Cash for lunch at the blow hole

There should be little to no reason why the masses can't join us this time round as there is HEAPS of notice, go get the day off work if you need too. Do what any true aussie bloke / chick would do and call in sick :whistling: <<<< this is just a suggestion :P

  2. not sure where I found this little fact out but I do recall reading that they will start to put digital radio (DAB+) into stock Headunits in 2012

guess the portable "Prue - Highway One" is the only option till then.

PS: I have a digital radio and it is great everywhere I go around Sydney and the lower Blue Mountains

  3. BG Pete here,

my understanding is that there a facia kit you can buy for the ZZE rolla to fit around a aftermarket HU. The normal outlets like car shops that have a audio section should be able to help you out.

If your still stuck and need a hand, PM me....thats BG Pete, not M_M :P

    yeah....what he said :P

  4. firstly, welcome to tocau.

my boss has the same model. i've been suggesting a 3S-GTE conversion for some performance. Style wise , keep the paint looking good maybe some 17's. my personal idea would be to leave it, they are becoming harder to find on the road in good nick, so small mods will do the trick :)

my 2 cents added, no change req :D

  5. this is gonna sound strange, but i spotted what looked like Peter Griffen and Yogi Bear walking out of the centre entrance of Plumpton shops.. between gloria jeans and subway tonight maybe before 8pm tonight.

    rudeness noted :P

......and yes it probably was us getting some boooooooze

  6. nah not silver mate i got the bluey greenish colour i dont even know what colour to call it lol, i was looking at gettin a black one but just couldnt find 1 for the right price

ahh aztech blue, have yet to see a ZRE Levin in that colour :o

welcome to to the club....I plan to get my ZRE Levin soon, in Dynamic Blue or Graphite :)

  7. Firstly, can I suggest you stop opening new threads when you just want to ask a variation of the same question over and over again.

    now down to business,

If you want to have GPS in the dash and your steering wheel controls to work I suggest you look at Kenwood Head Units. DNX7340BTNAV to my understanding has the Garmin Nav board built in and has the provision to connect to most OEM steering wheel controls. This info is just based on initial inquires of my own as I plan on getting this HU after I get my ZRE.

Only reason I'm looking and suggest Kenwood is I previously had one of there fold out screen models which did me well and was flawless in performance.

That said, I have also keep my eye on : http://clarion.com/au/en/products/2009/mul...2420520006.html : this looks like a good little killer unit. Yet to be sold in aus, so no pricing, but looks good never the less. This page clearly notes the " OEM Steering Remote Ready" which I mentioned in a previous thread :P is something to look for.

    Hope this helps
