The box hasn't been abused too much. Apparently the worst abuse is probably from being a manual learner's car for multiple people. The clutch got replaced a couple of years ago, which is probably when they changed the oil last. Either way, it'll be good to check the oil and get it done. Shouldn't be too expensive in the big scheme of things.

Hey guys, My friend's 03 levin rolla transmission is rattling really loudly after third gear. Instead of overhauling the gears (its third, fourth and fifth), he's going to try to give changing the transmission fluid a change (it's been a while). He's just asked me what type of transmission fluid he would need, and if it would be safe to mix in something called 'Nulon G70' to help it out even more.. Is there any other things he could do that might quieten down the rattle? The car has done 150,000 and he's been roughly quoted $1500 to get it all fixed by his local mechanic. Thanks!

Hey guys, I was just wondering if anyone can shed any light on how good/bad is the Pioneer AVIC-F20BT headunit. I got a offer on it for 1900, and was wondering how it fairs with the other headunit (GPS/DVD/MP3/Ease of use). Ive been looking for reviews on it, but can't seem to find alot on it and only one youtube clip on it which was made by a pioneer person which kinda makes it a lil bias. thanks

ahh yeah apparantly they have stopped making genuine toyota alarm kits. Some toyota places doesn't know they exist and they have told me theres no such thing. lol I have been looking at the cyclops brand atm. is it an ok brand of alarm?

Hey guys, I was enquiring toyota how much to upgrade the corolla to get a car alarm. I forogt however to ask what the features were cause I was in a rush and its already closed. They said it costs $550, does anyone know if it comes with microwave sensors?

Hey guys, I am looking for a new mp3/dvd/divx player for my car. I would like it to be a double din one and also an inbuilt 6 disc stacker in it. Does anyone know of a good one? haha alright, maybe Ill leave the climate control unless I come across one. But the speedo would be a definite for me. I don't thrash my car or have I ever reved pass 6 anyways, I just like the look and colour to be honest hahaha Come on, have to admit...red lighting...looks really nice. I definitely would get the levin if I could find out...but haven't been so lucky on facebook and toyota wasn't very nice to me about it either lol Does anyone know a great place in Melbourne I can install the speedo? My car is out on warranty anyways because I didn't read my manual and didn't know outside servicing voids the extended warranty =[

Hey, I have a 06 Corolla Ascent Sport that I am proud of, however there were a few features that I always wanted in a car and I never got it when I bought my corolla or I was short on cash =P I was wondering, does anyone know of a good place I can pick up a few corolla parts to get it installed into mine? Sportivo Auto climate control Levin/Sportivo Speedometer I was hoping to try and claim these parts but except toyota, which they said it be approx 3k each to get each part and I should just sell my corolla (which I do not want to do) But I really hopeing I can locate them (New/Used)

oh how cool! Did they charge you quite fairly? lol ahh welll it is nice they offer courtesy car still which is a nice thing. Did they had to order in new parts? or did they just do sort of a touch up?

Hi, its been a while since I came to this site...because i forgot what the site was called haha so HI guys! =] anyways, I have a couple of hit and runs on my 06 corolla(angry when it happened)..and mysterious car dents on my roof top (confused and intrigued as there are no scratches just small dents) that I kind of got sick looking at it everyday...so I wanna try and get it repaired/replaced or whatever lol But I'm not too sure where to start...as I don't know any place in Melbourne (east side preferably) that does a good job and gives a fair price.... The hit and run damages are quite..deep...and pretty damaged...so I would assume I would need to get new bumpers.. does anyone have any place suggestions for me? THANKS!

Buzzing noise sure doesn't sound good. I hear a lot of buzzing noises at work and that's due to loose wires and things that are about to blow or catch fire ... can't be good in the long run anyway. Take it back to your dealer and let them deal with it since your car is still under warranty anyway. That's their job :) lol haha yea, i hope me changing the head unit doesn't affect the warranty. Should i call up the actual dealer or the service place?

Hi, my corolla is making strange noises when i'm driving especially in 1-3 gears. Its making this noise that sounds like something like buzzing. It sounded like it was coming from the right side of the car near the windscreen and the side airvent. I thought it could be the end of the windscreen just rattling from the vibration of the car . I was wondering if anyone knows what it could be? or any solutions?

lol sorry, my camera..is sort of out of order atm haha lol, I can't even do heel and toe, too advanced for me....everytime i try....i accidently let go of the clutch and i get a big grind into my gear box X_X. the screws are a ok length, just the bars that hold the sport pedals onto the normal pedals are in the way of where the screws are suppose to come through. I try to push them more into the middle but i can't cause the accelerator pedal has something thats stopping it from moving.

Hi, I just recently bought a set of sport pedals, just the cheap brand ones tho (only wanted it for looks) and I was trying to fit them on, I got the clutch and brake one on (surprisingly the brake one was abit difficult) but I can't seem to get the accelerator pedal to go on. The bars that hold the pedals on, seem to get in the way of the screws. I try to push it in but it won't go any further. Anyone can help me plz? thx

Hi, does anyone know if changing the stock head unit in a Corolla 06 would stop the central locking from working? Or would stop any other features?

haha nope, did it with some other driving school which had cheap prices..but they had a corolla too :P
