  1. Hey guys,

Was having a look under the bonnet when I noticed that I'm missing a hose off of what I believe to be part of the air intake. I have had a look through the workshop manuals but can't seem to find where it should be connected to, and their doesn't seem to be a hose dangling down anywhere.

Is anyone able to advise where/what this should be hooked up to?

    Pictures attached.

  2. Hi Folks, just chasing a little advice.

I've had problems in the past with kicking out the plug which runs into my servo. Usually this means I'll only be able to get Arctic air until I plug it back in. Eventually I broke a pin off and had to do some fiddling around with it to fix it up.

However it appears that I was a little careless while trying to pull the servo motor out to work on it and have done something to the gears. When I start the car I just hear the aircon making a knocking sound, as if the gears which the servo connects to are misaligned.

Any advice for fixing this up or removing the servo motor to get better access?

    SEX: Male

STATUS: Single when I bought it, currently taken.

REASONS FOR BUYING: At the time I was looking for something fast, and stylish. I'd previously driven a Falcon and had bad experiences with it. My experience with my Hilux taught me that Toyota's are damn near indestructible. Test drove a Touring before finally settling on an SX6. Have never looked back due to the surprisingly good fuel economy and comfort of the car.

I've had a few problems here and there but over all its been a great car. Even made it through a few fender benders without too much damage.

  4. Hi Folks,

I've got a 2008 Aurion SX6 and I accidentally caused a little damage to the dash while working on the head unit.

Toyota have quoted me $730 for a new panel to replace it, however I'm wondering if anyone knows of a way to repair it.

Another alternative would be to buy a non genuine part I guess. If anyone has any suggestions of a good dealer?
