  1. Hahaha yeah all good. I'm used to driving that far by myself on a regular basis anyway so just let me know before and I can cruise up with you. Otherwise, no fuss. In regards to go karts, come when you can as the gokarts are close to the kebab place we usually go to (just down Sydney Road). :)

What's the address of the Kebab place? If I'm running really late, I may just head straight there to save time.

Otherwise, what time will you be at the go karts place until? I'll watch for a bit if i arrive early enough.

  2. No love for the eastsiders?

Welcome to my world. I'm always going to the west and the guys can vouch for it (some thought I actually lived in the west ). Don't mind as I get a decent cruise! :D

In regards to the go karts event...

Go karts have been booked for next FRIDAY 20th April night 7:30pm with kebabs afterwards as per usual. Keeping it a part of the TOCAU family for the time being and certainly have at least 8. 10 would be a perfect number! :)

You can come and watch us if you don't want to race. Heaps of off track catching up or meeting new faces at the place or at the kebabs joint! :D

Let me know and confirm either here or by sms by Monday 16th

    10.

If I can book a friday off work, I might cruise with you to one of these thursday westside meets.

As for karts, It's doubtful that I would reach the venue in time, but I would be keen to join afterwards for kebabs.

  3. No one cares about the AE92 Seca's, it's all about the AE93 seca's....

If I'm not mistaken any xE9x Seca with a 4AGE is an AE93, not an AE92.

Very clean example, has it had a respray at some stage? Seeing as you're in Victoria, you should come to the Vic meets, sometimes there are a grey, and white seca in attendance, would be nice to have a red one there, so we have all three of the SX Seca colours there.

  4. Wow you make the MR2's sound bad, it's not hard to pick out a better deathtrap than an MR2.

Sounds like you had to replace a lot of parts, and are still going, on the plus side, you will have a half brand new car!

How do these handle with the 4wd? less understeery than the fwd ones?

  5. It appears as though I am losing brake fluid somewhere :s

Also, repaired a melted altenator connection, long story short its because of helping out some chick on the side of the road... -_-

    ...Never ending problems...

Are your pads wearing down? Pistons having to push in further pulls more fluid from the reservoir. See if the reservoir has no spillage out the lid, and check around your brake hoses too.

Fried your alternator connection while trying to jump start some chicks Delorean DMC-12 (the flux capacitor optioned model)? :P

  6. My driveway is somewhat steep for a driveway, it has gouge marks where it meets the footpath from one of our cars reversing down it (it's lowered and has a towbar). If you go up it too fast you may scrape.

Also, if your car's handbrake is not working very well/needs adjustment, you will know pretty much straight away...

  7. Welcome to TOCAU, hope you enjoy your stay. I take it you're a fan of the Mercury Cougar XR7?

Do plenty of online quotes for insurance, it may be classified as a performance car so that would not be cost effective in your case.

And be sure to to have both yourself and your father test drive one before you commit to purchasing, you may like how it looks cosmetic wise and its paper stats, but you may find how it drives is not what suits you.

Don't rush into anything and do plenty of research.
