The new Mazda 3 Skyactiv 113kW with 6.1l/100km is looking mighty tempting right about now...

Depends on where you drive too. I work near the airport, lotsa traffic lights, lotsa trucks, lots of idling and stop/start. That reminds me, the new Mazda 3 also has stop/start technology which should help my fuel consumption immensely.
On the F3, I average 5.5L. :P

we have a 2010 mazda 3 it averages 8.5 around town on the central coast and went to 7.2 on a recent trip to vic
dwee.
6.2L/100kms is the best I've got in the ZRE; my avg is 6.6-6.8L/100kms. :D
