hi guys thanx alot.... the only thing is i have had the cat out 4 the past 4months now and only now its happening... problem again guys is...1st gear only....go into lift...then freewheel put clutch in and then let the car idle thats wen the miss starts... according to toyota motorsport sa.. valve lifters arnt closing and they are sticky... so im left with such a predicament guys...i really love my car ,i spend most of my time in this car,and here in south africa....golf 5 gti with the 177kw upgrade cant take us out at the coast..so theres nothing else in this price range that id raTHER buy... i appreciate urls suggestions and will try them asap .. thanx again guys

hi there guys,i really need so help here plz... ok if u guys already dont know i also have a runx rsi 2zzge motor and the car used to be very quick in std form...only has a decat done..but runs with other 2zzge 's with headers and xzorst...so its shocking here in the part of the globe that in std form it runs so nice.. so guys heres my prob...when i pull the 1st gear into lift and put my clutch in and let the car idle wen it comes to a complete stop...the car idles with a mis. alot of vibrations and the sound from the xzorst sounds as if my car has been fitted with a performanced cam....] i took it back to toyota ...intelligent tester can not pick it up.. the idle is not steady and while reving up to lift its dead not like b4... guys i wud really like some help if url can... kind regards jeremy

well im only getting my car back in feb..yup..waiting for parts from japan.. guys..this clutch adjustment has to work cos im really getting scared...im not showing off here but i paid R205000 for my car +- 35344.82 aus.dollars..thats alot for me and the car only has 20 000km on now and the box is broken... toyotas repairing it but if i dont find a solution im afraid that the box will break again... Tayles......thanx...but we dont ve that option here in sa..the toyota performanced engines here are only the 2zzge 4age 20v 4agze (super charged) well im gona try the clutch adjustment hopefully it works and thanx for all urls post it really helps.. thanx guys

HI guys ...im a member of this forum and im from south africa,as some people here already know i drive a runx rsi.. 2nd gear problems are very common why? im not sure..currently my car is iun gateway toyota having the box repaired..the whole 2nd gear is damaged and gear 4 and 5 are crackd.. funny thing is i dont luanch my car.wen we race we go 2nd gear rolling so can someone please tell me why my 2nd gear synchro is damaged.. clutch adjustment..please do this work or does the exedy clutch kit work cos here in sa no1 stocks these performance clutch kits.. how much is it, thanx guys

hi there JC TURBO.. im very interested...can i get one...im from south africa and i would like to purchase one... at the moment my family is visiting austrailia..they are in melbourn...is it possible for me to buy one of these... i really need this... how reliable is the car with this ecu on?

hi there ...i dont mean to be rude...but here in south africa...we fall into lift from 1st gear to 2nd gear.. and most of the time when we race turbo cars like the gti golf 5 then we are infront atleast by a car.. currently im driving a runx rsi 2006 model but stock std. but my previous one 2006 model had a decat done and i ran a godd friend of mine,he drives the ford fucos st. 225. belive it or not the runx sat a fender in front 4/5 races.. first 2 we went on a roll..i was infront..the next 2 we went launch and i was also a fender infront... so these engines in std form they are excellent in my opinion..i know its not as much fun drivin a turbo car but i takes alot of turbo production cars of the track.. just my 2c ;)

guys please be so kind in sharing mods to this car...plz i want to mod my car but i dont know where to start.dont want turbo or gas yet but just the small mods that help the 2zzge motor.... i had a 20v 4age motor (rxi) at our drags stock std..i ran a 15.3sec.. please help guys

hi there guys ,my name is jeremy and i live in south africa.. i have wat we call a toyota runx rsi..url may know it as a rolla..it has a 2zzge motor which throws about 141kw. .... i have been reading alot on this forum and your guys really have fun... i have seen a jdm spec of a head light that i like..wanted to find out how much it is? our forum here in sa is.www.twincamclub.co.za visit us ..we have some interesting posts. im having a hard time convincing the guys back home(inland) +- 1600m above sea level that at the coast the rsi 141kw opens the new golf 5 gti...how about in aussie? and do url have the compressor in aussie...we are really waiting to c if toyota will bring it into our country. now that url know about my 2zzge motor...wat can i do to make it really quick maintaining it normaly aspirated? another question...i have heard of haltec from aussie..how good is it? and martini race fuel...how good is it? kind regards jeremy..Sa
