  1. Hi John,

You will definitely get to Rainbow Valley in your Kluger, We didn't make it to Chambers Pillar. A lot of it will depend on the weather they have had before you get there. If they have not had much rain some of the 4wd only accessible places you can make in a family car. Some of the reasons they recommend 4WD for some of the places is due to the condition of the road if they have had a lot of rain. I can guarantee you will want to visit more than just those 2 spots.

  2. Look up the Toyota owners club of south Australia on facebook if you have it. It's like the comment above stated, it is where most people seem to converse these days. Since the SA guys started a facebook page, heaps more people have become involved.

  3. Jump onto the facebook page. It's really taken off since it's been put on facebook. Around 200 members now. We were struggling to get interest on the TOCAU site, hence why they tried the facebook site, and it seems to be working with a lot of interaction. Still good to see some SA people on this site. I know Drew (Bangers) still puts pics of his car on here.

  5. My Mate had this car for a couple of months now and he's selling it, thought i make a good deal with him so it will be mine next week.. Selling the beast for this, worth it ???

Max Speed limit is 110km/h but people have their fun here and there.

I wouldn't need that much power unless I'm going to the tracks every month.

Yeah it's a machine man but I'm happy with the Aurion ATM

I'm confused, are you buying this?

If so, have a serious re-think. You have a beautiful car and you want to swap for a Ford painted baby blue. WHY?

  6. I'm In.

Where are the rest of the South Aussies that are on this site.

Would be good to catch up and Discuss the fact none of us are unlucky enough to own a Holden or Ford.

Don't have to be massively in to cars to come along or know anything about them. My dads used to be a mechanic for Toyota, but I still know barely anything about cars.

It's just good to meet new people and get out of the house on a nice day.

Bring the family along. All will be welcome.

  7. Mine was through the dealer, but only for the water pump. They were suppossed to change the belt at the same time, but the idiots only ordered a standard aurion belt instead of a TRD one. The belts about $140 on top of the $1200 with no aftermarket available and i figured they could do it at the same time as they needed to put the belt back on, therefore no extra labour involved. Ended up getting my dad to replace it once the belt finally came in. Other annoying thing was that they told me they would do a discount on the belt for the stuff up, but when the belt came in the service department wouldn't do it as they had incurred freight charges to get it to Adelaide, and advised the service person shouldn't have made that statement.
