thanks mate for the prompt response... yeah that is when it usually occurs, when it is slower indication for a lane change or something simliar to that... so yeah, that would make sense....
so does that mean it is a bad thing, or is it just because its one of those things?
if it constantly happens what are likely to be the repercussions?
-
sometimes when I just start to put my indicator on, there is a hissing/zapping sound when it hits a certain point ... what may this be from? anyone have any ideas?

all this application email bullsh!t
gee you must be computer illiterate. If I can work it out then it tells me you need some PC lol......
LOL nah its like, all those application invites its annoying
there is a link that you can click to block them when you install them,
otherwise click on the 'privacy' settings (link in the top right corner) and you can change your preferences for each application... and block ones that you dont want to hear anything about... it can all be changed there...

Justoyota in Moorabbin can sometimes be helpful, just depends who is working on the desk.
But they seem to know their stuff. I got my bits and pieces from there for my 93 camry, but they had heaps of variety, quite a few of each model.

Thanks heaps for the heads up about your mods... ill look into some stuff... atm the moment i have the LED's at the feet of the driver and passenger (under the steering wheel and the glove compartment) , but havent done the actually dash yet, but i did start to look into it, but was unsure abotu the efoort required to get the dash off and get to the globes on the dash... have you done them? how difficult was it to take it all apart? did you use new LED globes or just covers to go over the original ones?
when you debadge a car, does it effect the value much ? when you eventually go to sell it?
how much do air intakes cost? are they hard to fit? or how much to get them fitted? whats the best type? (K&N? model number?)
Thanks for that mate. Be in touch

I had the same problem with mine, i ended up getting this guy who restores and repairs material (like couches, furniture, restores old cars, etc) sorta like a handyman... we working on it for a while .... what we ended up doing, was pretty much DIY style,..... we got a heavy duty glue, tryed to glue down what we could, held it till it dried, then it was a matter of getting a paint that of simliar colour to the dash and ended up painting the more noticable bits of the yellow foam and it is now not recognisable, so it seemed to do the trick... when i get home i can get some photos of the finished product if you want... where are you based? coz if you are in melbourne i can find the number of the guy that did mine... he was reasonable too...
when i did the research i came across people saying that they would need to take the windscreen out and charge excess amounts, and other people said to buy a carpet for the dash but i dont like the look (or idea) of them, so yeah.... let me know if you want either the number or the photos?

And also Did up the sound system a little, got myself some 6" JL Splits, had a hard time getting them in though, because it had a stock 4" one, and when I went to put the bigger ones in, it got in the way of the window. they sound heaps better...
also have updated the head unit, got a sony USB head unit, has aux input at the front and came with a free mp3 player, which is usb and can plug in and play in teh car, so barely have used CD's.... i think it was the CDX GT470U or somethign similar to that...
by the way, if you guys have anymore ideas that come to mind as top some cheap effective mods, shoot them through, love to hear your ideas...
-
Hey guys,
Sorry I havent been on here in a while...
As I mentioned with keeping you guys updated, I got a wicked deal on some rims and tyres... a few months ago
it was $700 for a set of 16" akuza rims and a basic set of bridgstone (originally going to be cheap home brand ones, but when i spoke to the guy he mentioned that he would just chuck them in)... gives the car a completely different look... beats hubs cabs anyday...
other than that, havent had much time to play with it...
i will get photos up for you guys soon...

At first when I was watching I was a bit skeptical being quite a big fan or the uk one, but i tried to put this aside and judge it for what it was and i thought they did a fair job, they had some moments which i really enjoyed and think they worked really well with what they did. its hard not to make the comparison to the original uk series which has been established for many years. every series has to start somewhere and i feel where they have started is a good starting point.
Im not convinced that the Stig is as quick as he could be as I found it hard to comprehend that the M3 and the AMG were that much slower in comparison to the GTR and other cars tested.
Vince Collosimo - funny man... never experiencing selling a car... and the fact that he drives a saab.... found that interesting...
ah well, thats my 2 bobs worth...
I look forward to the next episode and the season has to bring.
