  3. Hi 450hptonne

What do you mean dealer can fix without replacing the part? Not sure if I have the same issue as I can't feel the knock but feels heavy and a bit hard when turning in my aurion presara.

    Cheers

Will the extended three years warranty cover my change of shaft?

The dealers can now fix the noise without part replacement. In your situation, I would expect it can be fixed at no cost to you. But only the dealer will be able to tell you something you can be sure of.

  5. Got my VVTi controllers replaced recently, service supervisor advised some ppl don't replace this as it has no affect to the car only the start up noise. Reason why some ppl don't like getting this replaced is due to the engine being removed for the VVTi's to be replaced.

The new revised parts are guaranteed not to have the start up noise, so far so good for me.

  6. Can't be done. The only DVD reading slot in the head unit is designated for the map disc already.

The only way you can do it is to change the entire head unit.

Thanks for the quick response Harlo, not sure if it will be worthwhile changing to one of the ones on ebay? The sell between $500 to $600 with a few more options but not sure about the quality though.

    Thanks again Harlo
