hey guys i have a 99 hilux and a 2001 hilux both 2.7 petrol, i heard up to 2000 hilux were made in japan and after that the engines were made in tailand or somewhere, the 1999 model will do a burnout of the line it has that much power! but the 2001 barely makes it up hills sometimes its like it looses all power and once it reaches about 4000 revs it takes of like power band, i was wondering if any of you guys managed to fix ur 01 model problems? if so what was the problem?
