  1. Hey all, New to this forum, and to four wheel driving in general! Having a problem with my recently purchased 80 series Landcruiser. There seems to be something wrong with the fuel system and its playing up both when running on Petrol and on Gas, but in different ways. On Petrol: I'll be driving normally say at 60k's in 4th gear (no clutch in) and the power just goes.. like its engine braking, or is no longer getting fuel. It sort of Jerks down if power if you can imagine what I mean.. if I push my foot flat on accelerator, no response. However if I pump my foot a couple of times it seems to click back in and get power again, although the problem repeats fairly quickly. On Gas: Drives normally until I go to change gear. Say I rev it up to 3000 revs and clutch in to change to fourth, the revs will stay at 3000 even with clutch in, and will only come back down to less if gear is changed into fourth, causing the clutch to slip a bit at the higher revs. Any ideas? it just happened suddenly. Fuel Pump? O2 sensors? Appreciate any help Cheers Ben
