G'day. Ah not entirely sure if it should go in this forum but looked like the most appropriate. Anywho, I am looking at buying a Hilux from interstate (I live in Victoria and would be purchasing from NSW), however I am not entirely sure on a few things. It is a 1999 KZN165R Dual Cab, with a custom tray. Not so much the issue, however it has a 6" lift.. Which is my main issue. Would that mean there would have to be an engineers certificate to pass the roadie? The 4x4 shift is down low and not in the center console where it should be, which would be another road worthy issue wouldn't it? The bloke selling it says that he is selling it with a roadie, however I am not entirely sure if the bloke knows.. Next question being, if it does come with a road worthy, is that RWC useful in Victoria or would I need to get a Victorian registered mechanic to do another one? I know a handful of mechanics, some of me best mates are, so thats not the issue, would still be nice if it could just come with it though. Appreciate any help. Cheers, Bob!
