unfortunately the above directions did not help change the time on the unit.

I have attached a photo of the audio system so you can see the exact model.

You've already got a clock in the dash, why have the additional one in the stereo? Just turn it off altogether - with accessories on and radio off, hold down tune down button and press 4 to get rid of it.

Sounds about right for the Falcon...

That's interesting because I've seen tested times of the Ford Falcon Boss 290 squeezing a 5.7 Second 0 - 100 time and a 14.5 second quarter mile.

I just read this article on Drive where they are doing a comparison between a Porshe Cayenne, Tarago & Falcon.

They claim that the Tarago pulled a 14.9 and the Falcon a 14.593, are they on drugs? What's your opinion?

i read some one particular site that they have developed the 2ZZ motor so that it pumps out about 200hp @ wheels..... thats about 150kw @ the wheels!

but u need at least 10 grand for the tuning.

Hey mate, I run a JL 12w3v2 in sealed enclosure powered by a Jaycar monoblock running 800wrms @ 1 Ohm, sounds nice, cost about 300 for the sub, 50 for the box, and 300 for the amp.

Autobarn's DRiFT brand filter is way louder than the K&N I initially used, just to add to the debate

The idea of having a belt with a TV on it has always appealed to me. The TV would sit on the small of the other halfs back, therefore when we are having sexy time I could then also watch the cricket, or the Simpsons, or Rage if it was the old 'sexy time @ 1:00am after a night out'.

I have an ITG pod with my TRD CAI on my car. When I come to Sydney for the national meet you can gauge how loud it is. But I will tell you this - A CES CAI with the K&N filter it comes with is by far louder than the TRD CAI or any other I have heard.We have noise tested cars on the dyno at the CES dyno day. Most with the CES exhaust system are around the 87-90db. Some with aftermarket cannons etc are as high as 118db. Just crazy!!

We measured intake noise and TRD CAI's with the TRD filter were 110db. Cannot remember what some of the others were. But were all around that range(107 to 115db)

I don't think the K&N is that loud at all....I have an Apexi and that thing is louder I reckon. The apexi roars whereas the K&N screams like a girl, either way I reckon the noise from an intake is loud. Lots of comments from family members saying that I would definitely get pulled over if a police officer heard that.

Dude it's not the K&N that makes the CAI louder. The CES CAI IS LOUDER than the TRD CAI hands down.

Hey mate is the CES and AEM CAI the same design?

What model is it?? Pre or post facelift?? Personally it sounds like the synchro is gonsky and a heavier clutch ain't gonna fix it. Clutch adjustment was done only on pre facelift's but if you have a facelift model you could try and push the point with your dealer but you prolly won't get too far. Luckily for me I had a very unusual problem with mine in that 2nd and 5th gears were very hard to select and both synchro's started to deterioriate very quickly for some unknown reason even with oil changes more frequent than Toyota suggests. I had the clutch adjustment done previous and it solved the shifting prob but left me with a bad clutch shudder just above idle.

The dealer who did the adjustment didn't want to know so I went to another who couldn't help enough!! They replaced both 2nd gear and fifth gear synchro's and gear sets and selectors and machined my flywheel and put a new clutch kit in as well. When pulling the 6 speed apart 6th gear usually breaks when trying to remove it from the mainshaft and mine did so I got a new one of them too.

All this done on a car with 84 000k's on it. It's all about how you present your case and be willing to accept their decision.

But I guess I am also very persuasive and it also helps when you know more about the car than they do....

That's true bout 6th gear they broke mine to they had my car for almost a month, about $1400 in parts alone.

hahaha, keep it up uleh.... i've written a letter to the police station if they ask me to get a db reading i'll do that. Loudest Pod filter???? so far we know the apexi is louder then the k & n, anyone else have any input?
