WellsieTRD was correct usually hilux clock springs just failed (for those that dont understand what a clock spring is it's basicly a flexible electricall circuit shaped like a clock spring ) they fail all the time simply disconnect the battery then remove the air bag, steering wheel centre nut then steering wheel remove and replace spring with wheel facing straigh forward ! done it a thousand times don't be scared of airbags they are safe !
  2. Your not thinking about using liquid metal on the crank are you dont waste your time pull the motor out remove the crank and do it properly !
