You want to know something funny, I was going for a new job back in November 2017 & at the job interview I decided to be true to myself,  & i said honestly " I'm not dead yet " you want to know the good news, I got the job & I'm still there just like i am still here my friend. 

I dislike Tailgater's myself, especially in my baby since it is a limited edition. What i do & i highly recommend to everyone is letting the impatient & the not so considerate pass, if safe to do so stay in the left hand lane if you are not over taking as i see many times watching Dash cam videos & Taking a interstate road trip myself of late. Driver's driving in the right hand lane & not overtaking. I am seriously wanting a rear dash cam video as everybody is now having one. Funny thing I took an interstate road trip 3 weeks ago Travelling from Cairns Far North Queensland to Hervey Bay QLD, to Singleton NSW to Crookwell / Goulburn NSW & to tell you the truth, I wasn't leaving Cairns QLD, without my " BLUES ON BOARD STICKER ON THE REAR BUMPER " 😉

If you must know what is sad, I haven't seen this video in such a long time, They should definitely show more video's like this. It show's how much our cars really mean to us, not just a piece of metal 😉 

I don't own a Rav4 but in my Rukus i have placed my Dash Cam on the right side, just tucked in behind the mirror, as long as it is not obstructing your view. 

Fuel prices in Cairns is around the $1.57 & that's just for unleaded. If you fill up at a PUMA you will receive a 4c off if you are a RACQ member. 

No need for those 4c off shopping dockets, the starting price is $1.55 so you get it for $1.51. But the funny thing was the station down the road 

was selling for a low $1.49 but you had to line up and the line was down the street. I would highly recommend downloading the app

Hi Alec, I have owned my Rukus Halo for 6 years now & never would i dream of calling it a Roo Cuss,

what i do get a little upset is when people call it a Hatchback Gggrrr.... its more than just a hatchback, definitely with lots of noise ;-) 

Finally got my new Rostra Custom LED Daytime Running Light Kit /11-13 Scion xB fitted on Thursday 20/04/17. I have waited oh so long for these, to me it seems like a dream, maybe because i had to wait so long. They look so amazing & I couldn't be happier. Had the bumper re painted. Wanted to share with you guys. In life you must do what makes you happy right :-)

On a seperate side note and I know this will probably dissapoint John but I have in fact said goodbye to the Rukus as of a week ago, its been a good run but ultimately I wanted something quicker and faster.

first of all i am very much saddened that you have parted with your Rukus & it also disappoints me & i think everybody else once people know the truth. but if you were not happy then you did what you had to do. i thought we were all in this together, standing by each other even in amongst all the jokes & humiliation that we seem to cop every now & again. well since i have modified my boxy babe i can honestly say i wouldn't trade mine not for anything. if anyone is going to say goodbye it will be my box. can't believe my Box will be 4 years old this Month, where has the time gone. i am so happy to be back as if you guys were wondering where have i been. i needed to be closer to my family. The really sad note is & i not wish to rave on but i will be honest & upfront with you guys as i have always been. When i was driving in Cairns people used to laugh & point and everything else for that matter. now that i have finally said goodbye to Cairns i can say that i am home where my heart belongs. now the people here have showed me much respect & telling me how much they love my Box. sometimes i feel like i am the Bandit but without the Trans Am.

Every where i go people give me the thumbs up, beep their horn, take pics & Video. it has been a great ride with my Toyota Rukus Halo & i wouldn't trade that for the world. David i am so happy for you for changing your wheels but i do hope it was a Toyota =]

No news is good news. Was informed back in 2013 that Toyota were no longer making Rukus so i guess the xB was next on the list.

Good News guys, recently the dealer contact me about the manufacture has dropped the price significantly.

Now they are doing the price for 247.5 USD ! And I also have the refund on the different.

just wondering how long is this offer available.? as i am very much interested in buying if the manufacture can wait a few more months. please let me know when you can. so glad you got a refund on the difference, i am only wishing to buy 2 sets of 4 as i am already having 2 sets of 4 DRL's down the bottom & would be for the best if i also stick with 4. thanks cheers :D

Hi all Iam new to this forum (basically forums in general). I have a 2011 Rukus and wondering if anyone may have a idea if a nudge bar is made in Australia for the Rukus. I live in a remote rural area in Tassie and we have a lot of Roo and Possums and I would hate to stow the front in , Any suggestions would be great

for quite a few Months now i have been chasing high & low for anyone that will also make my wish come true. all i am wishing is for a Polished Alloy or maybe Stainless Steel nudge bar for my Toyota Rukus Halo & i am at a loss as to why i am unable to get one. i have also tried the many Custom places & still no luck. here in Cairns even the 4x4 are not able to help me. there was one place & they had said to me, for me not to pay too much would be for them to find a 2nd hand nudge bar & to polish it up & make it look like new, that was back in February this year & still i not hear from them. i will soon be leaving Cairns in the next few Months & will be moving Closer to Brisbane think i will have better luck down there. if you do find one in the mean time PLEASE contact me as i am getting a little frustrated & desperate. i have seen what happens when a Rukus comes in contact head on & it's not pretty better to have something there that will protect it even if just a little. i thought i was the only crazy one wanting a nudge bar for my boxy babe. in December of last year i had driven 2000ks to visit my family for Christmas & i couldn't count just how many dead roo's i actually saw on the side of the road & in the middle of the road. the funny thing is i still haven't given up hope in finding a nudge or bull bar for my Rukus & I Will find one even if it takes me years Don't Give up how hard could it be

Has any one tried to source a set of mud spats front and rear, Toyota don't list any as an accessory, would like to fit a set as Im sic of cleaning tar off the front doors due to road works,

Tony, first of all you have come to the right place. i am the one who can help you on this matter as i was in the same situation as you are. i too was becoming so frustrated & angry every time i had returned home only to see all that unsightly black tar, mud & what ever else was on the road. i just couldn't take it much longer. Sick & tired of cleaning it all the time as it was so unsightly & not to mention damaging your paint work. i was already Knowing Toyota were not able to get me a set for my Halo & like everything else i have had to purchase online, i now go searching on E-Bay and i wouldn't dream of going any where else. i purchased a set of 4 Scion xB Genuine factory Mud Guard set fits 2011 - 2013 and even better you will see my Blue Box Wheels with the Mud Guards on as he had asked me could he use my wheels for his ad. they fit perfectly & i haven't had any trouble with them. his name is Wayne if you let him know you know me & remind him he is using my Pics he will look after you. he is a great guy. he will look after you. here is the link

hey just thought i would say hi and update you on what had happened. i guess with everything you purchase from over seas or for any where for that matter there is always going to be something that goes wrong, well to my shock horror, my purple bubble gear knob had blown a fuse & i was not happy so i decided to send them a message to inform them of this, but to my surprise they had sent me the whole unit & all i was needing was the main plug you plug in cigarette lighter. as the fuse was blown inside & the red light on the outside was no longer working. so it was to my delight receiving another full unit in the mail. i can't complain about that can you

Hi Sonia Where did you buy the DRLs!? $150/two!? Wowsers!

Where did i buy them.? and would i have loved to have purchased them elsewhere Yes... sadly i was not thinking when i had walked into Auto Barn & had paid a Whopping $150 bucks for the pair & they were on special oh and one more thing i forget to mention. it cost me double the price just to have them fitted. think i will get an auto electrician next time i do learn from my mistakes you know as you had stated it was far more expensive for the 8 but i would not have bought them anywhere else except on line. 4 is enough i guess it depends on what you like. i am still wishing to have the left & right hand corner done with DRL's but not sure where to buy from, if you are knowing where i could get a set would greatly appreciate it. any help that is i had thought i was finished with lights on my Halo but it is never ending what more can i say thanks & sorry for little late better late than never right.....
