Very nice. About to convert my rear to a trd one as well. Noticed the NSW plates! Thought about turning up to a meet anytime soon? Have to see this one in the flesh.
-
This isn't the whole rear bar. Just a tiny little stainless steel section. The do sell the rear bar though but only as a trd kit. Maybe contact them?

I had this issue in my old car also with a pioneer head unit. I changed everything amps rcas speakers but I just couldn't get rid of it. Now it makes sense that it was the head unit. Try swapping it out and see if that fixes the issue

Lol real men have feelings :)

Wow those angel eyes are bright :) I love it. I like the Perspex half the time and then I keep thinking it looks lonely over there if you know what I mean??? But I don't know how to stop that feeling. Maybe I have to see it in real life
-
Not fully sold on the perspex drl. Need a shot with the blinker off?
-
Woot!!! Almost done. Can't wait :) :) :)

If it was the other way round, Camry front and Aurion Rear, I'd dig it :D I like the sharper headlights on the Camry, imo look more aggressive (that can be easily changed with eyelids though ;) )
I agree. I actually really like the whole Camry shape.

Hybrid tail lights still for sale?

Cheers noodlez. The pic turned out great. Can't wait to see the rest of them ;). Thanks guys. I'm pretty happy with how it looks at the moment but still have more I want to do :)

I like this a lot more!!! Really nice design there Luke :). The second last picture is the best just because you can see the amp and the light behind it. The last picture the amp just becomes a shadowy box. It needs to be seen :)

Nice pic's Chris,
In such a short time you have made this one of the best looking cars on the forum with some of the best mods,
Rob and i last meet both wished we had your front end :)
Cheers Luke. Just following in your footsteps. Most of the ideas I have come from you anyway ;)

Did you remove the rear splash guards? Just be careful in the rain if you did because it will be scarey when you first apply the brakes! To fix it you need to have slotted or need to slot the rotors.
I didn't remove the rear splash guards but I've never checked I they are there either. But the rotors are slotted so should be all good.

Don't mean to rain on your parade, the Kluger/etc brakes are an excellent value for money upgrade but they are not up to par with the TRD brakes.
Far more to braking systems than just rotor size and number of pistons
Yeah I don't know much about breaking systems at all. I got the kluger upgrade off advice I read on one of the threads. It worked out a lot cheaper then a trd set and I'm really happy with the results. To be honest I couldn't warrant the $1200+ it would have cost to get a TRD set. :)

Oh good. In that case ill be there

$150 for the calipers and then in think about $170-$180 for the RDA slotted rotors. So pretty cheap. But not genuine TRD.
-
They are twin piston calipers if that's what you mean???
-
Haha yeah well when you put it that way ;)
-
What are the specs on the calipers? How much of a difference have you noticed so far
The calipers suit a 328mm rotor. So far I havnt noticed a huge difference but the guy at the break place said I wouldn't until the pads are properly bedded in. It is more responsive though

So after chasing down parts to upgrade my brakes for the last month or so i finally have my new brake system on. Only changed the rears to slotted rotors but the fronts i changed the callipers to the larger 2010 Highlander callipers (Americas Kluger). Could not for the life of me find any kluger callipers in aus for a half decent price. Got the highlander ones sent over for $150. Just changing the rotors over has made a world of difference look wise.
Teaser pic. More pics to follow later

Wow $800. Is that just for the mufflers? Are they really worth that much?
