  1. I reckon with the way things are so cramped next to the fire wall you'd have no alternative but to go remote mount with a decent sized snail!!! I'd still say it wouldn't be too laggy depending on the specs!!!

Personally I prefer some lag in FWD applications as it saves some stress on the running gear and in drag launches gives you a chance to come off the line without all the wheel spin...

My last car had 200kw atw's in an NXR coupe and I didn't think the torque steer was too bad but personally i believe the chassis in the corolla is far better, newer, etc.

  2. Hi all

This is my first post. I have an 03 Corolla Ascent my indicators are not working ... nothing showing up on dash .. no indicator light flashing nor indicator click sound. Needless to say my indicator lights around the car do not work as well. However, everything checks out ok when i push the Hazard Light Switch inside the car, all indicator lights work as per normal, inside and out. Checked the fuse inside the engine bay, the fuse which controls the Hazard and Indicator Light Circuit, not blown. Where else would the problem lay? I haven't been able to get to the indicator light relay inside the car. Is there any fuse which i need to check that may be behind the dash ? Thanks very much for any replys :)

    Hi and welcome Leisha,

I'd probably check the flasher unit or the stalk on the steering column...

  3. I'm also a huge fan of the meguires products... use everything from the chamious, gold class wash, NXT polish and techwax too.

I like to wax mine about every 2 months or somethimes more often!!! I like it to have that glassy finish to it!!!

  4. I'm running the Trust one and its fine for me! Planning on adding a 3" duct to the airbox to open things up a bit down the track but thats about it.

Its a really hard issue to judge in the drivers seat cause each persons gonna say xyz is better. Comes down to everyone having their own preferance. However i'm fond of all the jap stuff and k&n, etc! :P

  5. the Ferodo DS2500's are a brilliant pad for a car that is street driven with occasional track work.

I'll definately be using the DS2500's next as well. Have used endless street pads before and they were great. Good bite, no squeel.

  6. I've spent the last 5 years playing around with boosted fwd SR20's!!! Having done a few conversions i reckon ro11as list looks the goods!!!

If you're on stock internals I'd stick to 7 - 10psi no more.

If you're stuck for intercooler options you could consider water/ metho injection but then again its easier to pick up a cooler and have it piped up.

Any ecu like power fc that has the base programme in it is gonna put you miles ahead and make driving your car a better experience having cold start, etc already sorted out.

Ideally I'd have an oil cooler on board for a bolt on set up too.

  7. I'd wash with the gold class, then clay bar treatment with detailer spray, apply colour boost (this also removes prior polish and waxes too but adds it own) and finish off with NXT wax.

    meguires is the shizz man!!!
