Hey guys, im looking for some 16" new tyres (affordable price) to replace my stock one cuz there are not much treads left. (maybe 30% at the front or even less), Any good suggestions? I have been surfing on ebay and has found some 17" rims with tyres at abt 1-2k, sounds nice but im not so sure.

I got quoted $195 (205/50/R16) from a couple of dealers in the wollongong area for the Proxes T1R...

Whats are peoples opinion of this tyre

Just had them fitted. Excellent grip in dry, no more smoke when planting the foot on take-off, they even don't let go when you turn from a T intersection. I will update with a wet weather result when it rains.

As a side effect the car no longer tramlines on tram tracks.

And cheaper then the OEM Bridgestones - bonus.

how much does it cost u to get them? where abt did u get the tyres? thanks

u can run up to 215 without problems, i am using it as well.....

i think it is all depends on the bracket/rails underneath the seats...

yea, i tihnk it is quite expansive too, it only costs me about 60 dollars...VIC though
