hello all, I just had the mirror repaired by Windscreen o'briens as mtbrider suggested. it only cost me $50 !! to get a new one installed, compared to Toyota's quote of $127 JUST for the glass

i believe it would usually be the case that the scratcher just doesnt give a ***** about what they do to anyone elses sh!t. if it was someone you knew that did it then it would be something outta jealousy or some sort of revenge

what i meant by jealousy was that whoever keyed the car thought to themselves "im a poor c**t so i'll scratch this nice car because i will never be able to afford one"

isnt 40km over like immediate suspension for 3 months and a massive fine?

sorry to hear about the damage. i honestly wonder what drives people to damage another person's belongings, is it jealousy?

hello all, I think the best (cheapest) way to fix the damage is to go to a glaziers and get a mirror cut to size

can ANYONE recommend an auto wreckers, someone who cuts mirrors to size because im desperate enough to buy a cut to size mirror and glue it on

I own a 2003 Corolla Conquest and lucky for me some idiot has broken the driver's side mirror. Can anyone recommend somewhere where i can get it fixed for reasonably cheap, the good thing is its on the "glass" part of the mirror because the power mirror controls still move it

Hmmm.. at 40-45K my preference would be to go with a vw gti or an mps3 with a load more torque.

this wont be a detuned version (performance wise) but it may be missing the sat nav and HID's but who cares. the performance stuff will be the same which is all that matters, but the claimed 6.6 sec 0-100 is a bit sceptical and the only reason the DC5R's were detuned was because at the time of importation Aus didnt have fuel which had high enough octane so they had no choice but to detune

now its a different story, and the word is these will be circa $40k

not quite sure what effect you're trying to achieve but I'm assuming you're going for that "glassy" water effect. if that's the case you definite need a tripod and a slower shutter speed

I have a similar story, my mum has a Honda CRV and whilst she was at church some **** knuckle tried to steal the spare on the back. The plastic cover for the spare had been thrown across the road and im not sure why they didnt steal it, maybe someone disturbed them...
