An old Hayes manual. It discusses only taking the engine and gearbox out as on. From my understanding I should be able to drop the transmission out without touching the engine, or is this not so?

Hi My transmission has given up after 415000kms. What is required to be removed in order to drop the transmission out? Unfortunately my manual does not cover this. Thanks Jason

Hi, I am trying to find where all the welch plugs are within the 3VZ-FE, in particular welsh plugs susceptible to corrosion. Unfortunately the manual I have does not state anything in regards to welch plugs, freeze plugs, expansion plugs. So far I have found 4(2 for water, 2 for oil) per head. Total of 8. 3 on the block behind each exhaust manifold. Total of 6. 3 on the block in the valley Listing any more and their locations would be great. Thanks.
