Does anyone in the Sydney area know of a good place for servicing. I am up for a minor service but the car will need a thorough check over as i have done about 13 000 kms since last service (oops!).
I drive a 2006 Corolla Ascent.

well i have a few other thoughts......
would anyone be interested in buying club shirts or polos?
i'll post what our previous club polos looked like and take it from there.
and stickers......with just the club website on it will have some for sale on the day. i only have white ones if anyone wants black let me know i'll see what i can do.
I'll definitely buy a sticker (or two) from you on the day and possibly a shirt too.

ive got black trims on my silver rola. mine come off, yours should too, just follow the steps at the beginning of this thread.
I just took the badges on the back off, looks much better now and only took 15 mins - definitely recommend it!! -

That's the old Roadwarriors cafe isn't it? I'm always keen for more stuff north of Sydney, but it is a bit remote for most people and gets a lot of traffic from bikers
yep, thats the one, there are some real sweet rides that go there from time to time. its definitely an option for us if we wanted to take a proper drive one day. im keen for more stuff north of syd too but totally understandable that west(ish) is preferable for most.

not much for me, i have worked at a few bike shops and such but now work at a sailing club driving boats - have been doing this for about a year now. i finished school in 2011, had a gap year and now in my first year at macquarie uni!

Ok so its pretty much just bog stock right now. But it has come a long way after just one week of owning it.
First wash as soon as I got it and before removing the roof racks, this thing was filthy! (Note the middle aged woman number plates LOL)
After removing the horrible roof racks and head light covers!
Fresh tint job done
Future mods:
-
New CD player- Lowering (not sure if to get new springs and shocks or go with coilovers - please suggest what would be better for a daily driver)
- Sportivo wheels and maybe get them sprayed white
- Yellow lense foggies
- Centre dash lights to white LED's
- Either mesh grill or spraying centre grill black and outer chrome to match body (open to suggestions)
- New gear knob (when I actually find something good and doesn't look cheap)
- K&N filter (acquiring next week)
These are just plans for now any more ideas would be tops! Cheers!
What does the K&N filter do differently to the standard one??
There are some pretty cool gear knobs floating around ebay, i would have a look there. and theres also the toyota TRD ones.
K&N filters have better airflow to the engine increasing SOME power and better fuel consumption compared to the crappy thick cheap air filters you get from Supercheap. Plus they have lifetime warranty and you never have to change air filters again. I just bought one from ebay for 75 bucks coming from VIC in a few days. If you went somewhere local like Repco or something they'd charge you double that!
I personally think a great air filter is essential for any car!
filter sounds good, might do my car good when i upgrade the exhaust to do the filter too.

If your looking for Sportivo rims I can give you mine if you want. But they need to be repaired (respray and bog for the gutter rashes)
how large are they? when i get the $$ im looking at new rims for my '06 ;)
