  1. If thats the case I'll steer clear of the GT4 then and keep looking elsewhere!, so they are an unreliable vehicle then!??........
  2. Gday guys, I joined up here to get some CORRECT info as im getting conflicting info online = Im selling off my Problematic 180SX( cat wait for it to be gone!) and now looking at buying a 1990 GT4 Celica , It will be used as a daily driver doing 60km a day and theresquite a few traffic lights on the way to work as well so I dont want to buy something that chews through fuel like no tomorrow. the 180sx is great on fuel a 10.5 litres per 100km( not driving slow either!) but it chews tyres out and have to be replaced every year( hard compound ones too!) cause the car is lowered and im told they crouch down at the rear on take off so scrubs out the tyres quickly, its also had a missfire for the whole time ive had it ( 4 years) 5 workshops couldnt fix it nor could I even after replacing every sensor, coil packs, fuel pump you name it , every- bloody- thing!! so its gotta go. Can someone here give me a figure of how thirsty these GT4 Celica's are in city driving situations?, I was going to either opt for an early 90;s GT4 or an an MR2 ( Test drove a few and liked them). Any help VERY appreciated
